This section of the Bootcamp will host discussions and materials regarding the key issues and opportunities facing independent directors across Europe.
A suite of content covering topics such as good practice around risk management, how to prepare for the transition from executive to independent chairships and the role that depositories can play in supporting the work of iNEDs and their fund board colleagues.
This theme covers topics pertinent to the role of the iNED, including some of the practical considerations, like the opportunities to leverage experience from other parts of the investment governance spectrum as well as guides for iNEDs on key aspects of risk oversight.
This section looks at the key players and supports impacting the future of fund governance along with high-profile initiatives such as Assessment of Value and the challenge of getting true diversity on fund boards.
FBC will be launching its 2nd Annual iNED Report on Monday, 19th April during a live event at 11:00am BST. Join us to hear the findings from this key study into the state of independence on fund boards.

The event will kick off the 19th of April with a session introducing the findings of our 2nd annual iNED survey and conclude with a panel session drawing together the central themes of this year’s Bootcamp.
